Who am I? Good question – I trained as a naturalist, many years ago and got lost somewhere along the way.

As the first entry says I live in the Scottish Borders, which is amazing and infinitely variable, from highly agricultural and rolling lowlands to the dramatic and wild uplands.

I hope that this will remind me of what I’m good at and get me back to doing more than just looking, but actually seeing and maybe find my sanity along the way. Maybe slightly more importantly I hope you enjoy the writing almost as much as I did seeing the subjects. Enjoy!
